Making Memories Slice

I don't know how I failed to mention a Christmas Gift on my blog. Maybe because I temporarily set it aside waiting patiently for the additional design cards to be shipped to me. Well I received them just recently and have renewed my interest in the Making Memories Slice Machine.

If you are a card maker like me or a scrapbook person, this little cordless design cutter is great for quick cuts for embellishments. It is so easy to use and I think a real space saver. It's so much more convenient then those huge dies you would need to stack up and save for a single design.

I'm going to review my new design cards just received this weekend. I also just learned that 12 new design cards are scheduled to be released on 1/25/09. There are usually 30-40 designs on each card and each design can be cut anywhere from 1-4" big in 1/2" increments. This includes fonts that are usually very expensive for die cutters. See the official slice site at

Here are a few quick cuts I did. As you can see, I love love love my new slice. Also, I like using all the negative designs that most die cutters can create.

Thanks for stopping by
