Replacing my iron... Finally

The day has finally come when my generic (can't find a name on it) little iron has gone to the pressing yard in the sky.  I went to turn the knob and it turned right off.  I don't know about you but the minute something breaks on an electrical item, it's time to go.  That and the fact that the iron is about 13+ years old.  I love small irons.  I've tried purchasing those big fancy irons but I end up giving them away.  So, I finally found a smaller iron similar in size to my original one.  It's definitely different since the handle is in the other direction.  But, I'm branching out and trying something new.  So, here is my new replacement iron for when I need to press those quilt blocks.  Because, I know I rarely use it for clothing.  I'm a steamer when it comes to clothing.  What's your favorite iron?
Thanks for stopping by!

  1. I have a Black and Decker that I got from my mother. I love it, as it is light and does amazing steam pressing. I do love that sleek look of yours though!
I'm actually thinking of getting one of those tiny irons to do some applique work...yes the word applique keeps popping into my vocabulary, do you have one of those?
