It's great to be back home. We've been on the go for 2 weeks. It's been 1500 miles later and the vacation is over. It's time to get back to a routine and some crafting. First on the agenda is a lot of unpacking and laundry. I have a media initiated phobia about staying in hotel rooms and bed bugs so I can't bring the suitcases in the house until I have washed and dried all the contents. I'm working on this issue but the media doesn't help one bit.
We did take a trip to Lancaster PA but I didn't make it to any quilt shops. I have enough fabric and hubby is so bored when we are in fabric shops. Since it was his vacation as well, I decided to forgo the shop visits until I'm on my own. I am luckily only 45 minutes away from Lancaster PA. We did make it two other favorite shops. One for me and one for hubby. I was able to stop at the QVC Outlet store. Unfortunately, it was the 5th day of a 50% off store-wide sale and the store was practically empty. So, I only left with one $5 item.
For hubby, we visited ROOTS Country Market and Auction site. It's an eclectic mix of outdoor and indoor farmer's market and yard sale. If you are ever in Lancaster on a Tuesday, look it up. It is huge and was very entertaining.
Thanks for stopping by!
